How Our Process Works

Choosing Ovation for your credit repair needs ensures that you'll receive affordable, premier credit report repair and customer service. Our programs are based upon extensive research of consumer credit laws, credit bureau tactics and persistence for our clients.

The process of working with us is easy and can be explained in four basic steps. Below we walk you through a detailed explanation of our process for delivering consistent and reliable results.

Working With Ovation Is As Easy As 1, 2, 3, 4

After years of working with thousands and thousands of people on their credit reports we've honed a method that consistently delivers the best results in the shortest amount of time. The following four steps cover our basic process for working with you to repair your credit report.

1. Sign up, Select Your Program and Options.

Sign up and become an Ovation client online or by telephone. It's easy and only takes a few minutes. Additional service options can be added during the sign up process or anytime thereafter. If you call to sign up, our specially trained Case Analysts can answer any questions you may have. When you sign up you will choose from one of our two customized program options - The Essentials or Essentials Plus. You can also upgrade from the Essentials program to the Essentials Plus program at any time.

2. Get Us Your Credit Reports.

Ovation will work with you during the process of ordering and forwarding your credit report information to us via email, fax, or post. If you don't already have a recent copy of your credit reports (less than 30 days old), just let us know and we can assist you. The current report provides us with the specific information we need to most effectively dispute your questionable credit reports items. Once received we will enter your credit report information into your case file for processing.

3. Login and Activate the Dispute Manager

After Ovation has entered your credit report information into your case file you will be prompted to login and activate the Dispute Manager. During that process you will be asked some questions about the content of your credit report. Your answers provide us with the specific information we need to most effectively dispute your questionable credit reports items. Once completed just sit back and let Ovation handle it from there. Ovation will analyze your case and all the information provided to determine the most effective strategy to remove the questionable items pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Credit Billing Act, Truth in Lending Act, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, as well as other applicable Federal statutes.

4. Relax, Forward Responses and Enjoy the Results

Once the dispute process has begun the credit bureaus have a specific amount of time allotted by law to respond. During that time, the credit bureaus will be coordinating with the reporting creditors regarding the disputed information. You will begin receiving responses from the bureaus (and your creditors if you have the Essentials Plus service) in the mail and you should forward copies of everything you receive to Ovation so that we can update your case file and take further action if necessary. In some cases, your results will come directly to Ovation for you to view online. At this stage, you can simply relax and watch the results as your credit is improved one step at a time.

The truth about credit restoration.

Remember, there is no "magic wand" that someone can wave over your credit files to make years of bad credit "disappear" overnight. Our process of legal credit repair focuses on the inaccuracies, misstatements and misleading information on your credit reports and requires time, diligence and persistence. Our unique process can start generating results in as little as two weeks, and most individuals begin to see impressive results within 60-90 days. The majorities achieve their goals of restoring their good credit within 6-12 months, depending upon the individual's unique set of circumstances.
